Kurosaki Yu – the Chosen one. Yu Kurosaki is a Knifemaker at the world-renowned Takefu Knife Village. However, he is also the youngest member of the collective to have the title “ Master Nokaji” bestowed on him. To say he is the chosen one is to put it lightly. The amount of attention to detail he puts into each Knife and level of craftsmanship is unmatched. The SG-2 ( also known as R2) steel core has a Rockwell rating of 62/63 HRC. The blades are clad in stainless steel and come with an amazing hammered finish, when held up to the light it resembles the stars shimmering in the reflection of water or sparkly diamonds. Having these features the Yu Kurosaki SG-2 Senko range can be stored easily and requires little care in terms of storage and usage due to the stainless steel cladding.
